Do you love dogs? Would you like to have a job where you can show that love on a daily work basis? We at Citizen Canine appreciate the importance of reliable and high quality care in our upscale boarding service and daycare facility that is the first “five star” kennel in the Bay Area and also named by KRON 4 TV as the “Ritz Carlton of dog hotels”.

If you would like to help provide this loving atmosphere, consider joining our team. We are looking for qualified Part-Time Dog Care Specialists who can “keep their cool” as they perform the multitude of necessary tasks. Prior experience is preferred and could include working in a similar facility, grooming, volunteering in a shelter, or a similar background. Employees must be flexible and work three or four shifts each week for a total of 24 to 32 hours. There is a possibility of more hours over weekends and holidays since we are open 365 days a year. Reliable transportation and punctuality is required.

Our professional staff is trained to care for canine guests and their individual needs and healthy diets, their need to exercise in more than 6,000 square feet of play yards, their desire to sleep comfortably at night in climate-controlled rooms, take part in different training programs if desired, and be encouraged to socialize.

Each staff member becomes a Certified Pet Care Technician (CPCT) and also is Pet First Aid and CPR certified. Hours are spent with our behavior and training department, and there are seminars and workshops.
